As Covid finally feels like a distant memory, many of us are dusting off our passports and venturing out into the world once again. In my mothers’ group alone, out of the 14 of us, five were already planning overseas trips within the first six weeks of having their child. This resurgence in travel means that as mums, we’ll be feeding, pumping, and changing our little bundles of joy along the way.
So, what could make this already daunting-ish overseas trip feel a little less daunting? Knowing that we have access to a clean, safe, quiet, and equipped place to tend to our needs.
During my travels to the USA, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that at JFK Airport (of all places), there was an amazing new women-owned company that designed pods specifically for our needs called Mamava, Inc.

Accessing these pods is incredibly simple – all you have to do is download the app, sign up, find the pod nearest you, and unlock it. It couldn’t be easier.
For those traveling around the US, I would download the app or check out their locations here. Enjoy this absolutely, positively parent approved space!
